Food for thought...
What alot of people don't realise, cab drivers work:
- between 12-16 hour shifts
- on commission
- in probably the highest fatality rate occupations
- in extremely stressfull situations
- taking complete strangers to remote locations without backup
- with extremely high rates of assault & robbery against the driver
Therefore give 'em a break...
They are at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hi there are a few things you can do:
You can call the cab company. (If you know the cab company). They usually have a GPS system which keeps track of all the different cabs. You need to tell them clearly where you got in and where you got off. You can explain them the problem. You could recieve the money back.
Do you have the license plate number? If so, you can also report the issue to your Registry of Motor Vehicles.
However, you need to be aware of the fact that maybe the cab driver also made a honest mistake or if there were special charges (for example, at certain times of the day, people are charged 1.5 times the regular rate.)

At this point there probably isn't much you can do at this point except to perhaps call the dispatch and report the cab driver. In the future,ALWAYS count your money from ANYONE! People are rotten sometimes..I'm sorry this happened to you...

well, if its a cab that you're in everyday, try talking to him.... If not go to his employer and explain the situation, give him date time and a name... that should sort things out... Little piece of advice, hun... Count your money next time, you could've been shorted more money...
Have a great day...

Too late to do anything about it once the cab has gone.
I bet you'll count the change next time.

Well now you know, whenever you go to stores, check your change. Even when you withdraw money at a ATM, count it. Mistakes happen.

You are partially to blame for not checking the money at once but I believe you should just forget about it because it's not going to add to the years of your life.
