No matter what type of flooring you have, it has been my experience that nothing truly eradicates the smell and odors of pet stains or soiling of flooring better than a 1:4 ratio of bleach and water...give it plenty of time to soak deep down to reach the lowest layers of the original soiling or stain...then pat up what didn't soak in with paper towels and let the rest air dry. This and only this I have found will 100% get rid of the cause of the odor completely.
NOTE: Bleach discolors carpet fibers and other flooring materials, so be sure to do an inconspicuous test spot beforehand to determine the colorfastness of your carpets. Be sure to also wear gloves and work in a well-ventilated area.
Good luck!!

Home Depot and Lowe's carry an oil based odor & stain blocker. It works very well. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. You just paint it on the sub floor and let it dry. Then you can install new carpet/tile/vinyl/hardwood etc... and the smell won't "bleed" thru.
We recently purchased a home and the carpets were VERY soiled with cat urine. After the carpet was removed, we painted the cement with the stain/odor blocker. It worked wonderfully. No smell remains at all.
One cautionary note. This stuff has a very strong paint smell, be sure you have the windows open.

You need to either replace the part of the sub floor which has absorbed the smell, or paint over the area with a product called Killz. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation.

We had a dog with bladder issues. We we went to recarpet the floor, and the carpet guy said we could paint the floors where the stains were. We never did it but he said it would work. Good luck!

none of the products sold for this work. Simply pour a pile of baking soda over the entire area and let it sit for 3-4 days. Then, vacuum up. If this is on a wood surface use wood polish afterward.

Natures miracle solution, it has enzymes to penetrate the area and destroy the the Oder. Or you can use plain white vinegar and soap to scrub it out.
