Havent we seen our seniors reconciling to the fact that life is much more and beyond the materialistic ways we clamour for - why dont we learn ?

Not all of us fall for it. Some of us can't figure out why everyone else can't figure it out...

This is a thing that we have inherited from our parents.
Years back, when they dressed up us with colourful shirts and frocks that our poor pals in the neighbourhood couldn't dream, they sowed the seeds.
When my father made palace like house beside the leaking hut of starving Ramu, it was growing very high.
Now, when I visit home once in a year, I show up in possible ways to make people believe that I have grown very high such that they will never be able to reach my height.
I am young and my philosophy is that we experience Life only once and we should enjoy it.
You felt like questioning me many a time, but I had the philosophy.
I never forgot to praise my child whenever he threw away the breakfast out of anger.
I am so much worried that half a mile distance to school is really dangerous for him. I have arranged a car and a regular chauffeur for him. Jealous people say that I am extravagant, but isn't it my responsibility to care my child?
Now, I am old. I began to feel that I am reaching a termination.
I know now that spiritualism is really good.
But I am very sad that no one is listening to me.

After a certain point all people start to see are dollar signs and dont care about anything else, money is the root of all evil. Money is not necessarily materialistic, but you cant get that without it. I am so tired of hearing people on the radio talk about what they have now I want to hear something I can relate to. I hope you liked my input and knowing I agree with you. And just to think the holidays are coming..someone help us

materialism is anything which makes you selfish.materialism and selfishness are synanums.though a person does not want to be selfish still a person becomes selfish because of the addiction with the materialstic things.main reason for falling in the materialsm is that a person is not able to understand the spritualism( the meaning , the activities, the pleasure , the results).a person can understand the spritualism only when he does at least 50% selfless activities in life.but i think 99% people of the world does 99% selfish activities,0.5% does 95% selfish activities,.............................. and only0.005% people does more than 50% selfless activities in the modern era. people want to see results only they see yes i have life and it is for the materialtic things because they see result that in materialstic life people are enjoying why should i not enjoy.since 99.995% people are doing it so why should i go with 0.005% people . also their enjoyment is not seen by them because it can be experienced only. for example in meditation i enjoy so much as i can not enjoy in anything how will you believe it. perhaps you can not because you have not seen that kind of enjoyment in your life and also in 99.995% people's life. how can you believe it. enjoyment is a different thing but the results of spritualism are excellent ie amazing, beyond your imagination.results also can not be seen by 99.995% people. that is only the reason why people fall in the materialism

Materialsim has always been there in our society since begining.
Only difference is that earlier it was for betterment of society and now it has started taking toll on it
The imbalance of materialism and spritualism is responsible for decaying of society.
I believe this is happening becoz of unlimited progress. Everybody is beeing forced to increse business, inrease reserves, increase profit. These all parameters leads to materialism.
MATERIALISM IS THE NECESSARY EVIL OF PROGRESS.
This is the begining of the end.....

Because even the Gods require material money in this material world . only in the spiritual world material objects are not required
you need fuel to travel in thematerial world and do notrequire any fuel in the space . that is why yu do not take any material with you when yu finally to the space and leave behind all the materials behind in the material world while departing from this world . simple .The churches and mosques and temples whre gods live collect money , the material money because they are also in this material world . all those who decry wealth collect them in huge quanttities in the name of publeic serveice. Gods like material money and that is why they they are inducing the humans to give it up so that they can enjoy. the wealth in theis material world !
No body tqkes any material wealth or objects including his body and clothes while goig ,. So everybody knows that they should fall for materialism here in the material world only and not in the spiritual world .
material is necessary for life and spirit is necessary for death. Everybody has learned fully well . We are learning from our elders and those who inspire us .Which swamy or which mosque or which chruch is not collecting money? You think that God alone needs money?

I am not a materialistic person. I live a very modest lifestyle. My lavish rewards await me in the kingom of God when Jesus takes me home. Praise the Lord. All those material things in this world will be destroyed and you can't take them with you when you die.

An American soldier saw why it was easy to be spiritual in Iraq.
He was asked what was there to make someone religious.
He said nothing was there. That's why. Nothing. Nothing to distract. Nothing to take time away from worship.
It was 20/20 I think I saw this on when American boots first set in Iraq.

Popularisation of culture and social conditioning from parents, school, etc, has formed people today into very consumeristic persons, only concerned about themselves and advancing their profiteering, at the detriment of the planet and of the lives and livelihoods of everyone else.

Why do we fall for spritism? With the greatest respect to Popes, Bishops, Pastors and all the rest, when was the last time anyone was reliably recorded as feeling, tasting, smelling, hearing or seeing a spirit?

We fall for materialism because we are trying to fill a void in our lives. If your not saved on Jesus will fill it and if you are saved you need to feed your spirit with the word of God.
