A lot depends on what they have done to hurt you. I think ignoring someone if they have hurt you is good as they are unable to explain themselves or apologise instantly for their behaviour. Once a man apologises they think the subject is closed and that they have done their bit. If they are unable to do so they have to stew until you are ready to listen. Otherwise chop the legs off his jeans, unpick the seams on his shirts or drink all of his beer. If you really wan to hurt him, tell your friends that you have finished with him because of his gay tendencies.

Do you really want to get back at him? Perhaps he is unaware of the fact that your feelings were hurt. As a male I can tell you that most of us males really don't have a clue when it comes to relationships and girls feelings. Even if you do get back at him, I sincerely doubt that you will feel any better. Best to move onto the next wonderful guy you will meet soon.

The very best way to get back at someone who has hurt you is, to not try to get them back. Just go on with your life, be nice to them, smile and talk to them. Just be pleasant and nice. Not only does this make you a better person but it will drive him mad as he will not be expecting it at all. Dont get mad, dont get even just get on with the rest of your life.

Here's an idea! Just forget it and don't acknowledge that he "got to you" in the first place. When you seek to "get back", you are lowering yourself to that persons standards. Don't do it. Even a little thing. Be more mature than that. Godloveya.

Why bother?? Move on with your life instead of trying to hurt someone who has hurt you..be the bigger person. If you try to hurt them it looks like you cant let go.

My advice to you would be to move on. There is nothing to gain by wanting to "get back at him", it will only cause further aggrevation. No matter what has happened, walk away and move on with your life.
Life is far too short to hold grudges.

Rise above it and move on - getting revenge will not make hurt go away.

Forget it, move on and claim the moral high ground.
Nothing so destructive to yourself as revenge.

Don;t, walk away, holding your head high, you are better than that! If they have hurt you, they are the pits, let them stay down, rise above it!
