About the Circuit Diagram,it's working and components used in Single Phase Preventors..?

I'm doing a project on single phase preventors.
if there is anyone who can help me regarding the circuit,it's working and components used i will be very much rhankful to him..

It's really hard to find a description. Part of my (Google USA) problem is that "preventer" seems to be a term used overseas, especially in India. From some context (see ref.) I'm guessing a preventer is what we call a circuit breaker, an overcurrent protection device that is electromagnetically operated and resettable.
