The other day, my husband ACCIDENTALLY closed up the couch bed with my kitten still in the cubbyhole in the couch. That night, I found the kitten in the litter box with his head in the litter and looked up and had litter all over his face. I wiped it off and his nose was bleeding. Now, he seems to be acting fine, but meowing a lot more than usual. Do you think he's ok?

I hope he's OK but the bleeding makes me worry. It might be no more than a little nosebleed like humans get, but it might be more serious.
The meowing also worries me. It might mean he's in distress or pain.
Kitty might be fine but he might not. I think a checkup by a vet is definitely in order.

PEOPLE!!!!! ACCIDENTS HAPPEN, and I am CERTAIN that her husband didn't INTENTIONALLY close the couch bed with the kitten in it. GIVE THIS GIRL A FRIGGIN' BREAK FOR PITY'S SAKE!
As for the answer to your question.
You should take the kitten to the vet just to make sure everything is OK. The meowing concerns me if this isn't a normal behavior for him. This could mean that he is in pain. The bleeding concerns me as well. Unless he has a cut that could have caused bleeding, this could be a head trauma, and needs to be addressed.
Best of luck with your kitten.

I'm sorry to hear that. If he seems to be OK, then he probably is. As for the meowing, he must be doing this because he's shaken up. Pay extra attention to him to make him feel better, but always keep an eye on him, and if there is any sing of him feeling unwell, take him to a vet.

I would take him to the vet just to be sure he could have something really wrong with him. Cats will meow when there in pain. He could have some internal problems.

if he was bleeding from his nose he might have some sort of head injury, go get him checked out by the vet. And for gods sake tell your husband to open his eyes.

hey how you could be so careless. I think you should not act so stupid. please take care from now. As the question of you little poor kitten you must take him to the doctor. I think he has suffered from trauma and has been hurt a lot. so please take advice of doctor once. otherwise wait for aday or two. and then see what are the changes in its behaviour.

He could be having pain somewhere. I would call a vet and see what they advise.
