these are wonderful hard working GOD fearing people and are to be admired. perhaps this tragedy was needed to have these Amish teach the rest of the world what love and forgiveness is all about. these people are practicing FAITH IN GOD like I personally have never seen before. Plan on taking this lesson to heart so the deaths will not have been in vain.

They seem to have and to show Christian love, as a true Christian, and as Christ would. It's amazing, isn't it! I truly admire them.
In a world full of violence, they have an amazing spirit. They put most of the world to shame!
I wish that society had their values; if we did, as a nation, we wouldn't be having all the problems we have. We were closer to behaving morally, a long time ago, and as technology has increased, our Moral values have gone down...we're a nation that is sliding to hell on a greased pole!
I may not agree with all the Amish ways of living, it seems so limited and hard to follow, as communication with the outside world, to me, seems necessary. But I will say that they are a gentle and loving group, and we could learn alot from them.
God Bless them.

I have dealt with some Amish. I like them. I don't understand all of their beliefs, but I haven't had a lot of time to really discuss it with them.
I think it is good to remain friends with the family... they didn't do it and I'm sure they really feel bad for what happened.

I love them and I think they have it together - as far as their way of living and "religion." I don't believe in religion - just a relationship with Jesus Christ - which is so different from empty religion. But I have to say they are an inspiration to us all. May the Lord bless them abundantly.

These people live in harmony and without the interference of outsiders like us, they wouldn't be dealing with murderers. They try to insulate themselves from the evil of our world, but as usual, we spread it around. I have tremendous respect for them, wish I had the strength to live as they do.

I think they are wonderful people and their faith is amazing. To be able to forgive like that is something very few humans on earth can do. My heart goes out to them.
