If some great undeniable proof was discovered that a mortal man created the Earth and everything in it and man in his own likeness, without the use of some divine power that he did not have and died at a typical old age - would you accept it?

This would be undeniable proof for example(however unlikely) finding his lab and remains at the centre of the Earth.

People, people, this is all hypothetical. I'm interested in your opinions and open-mindedness. I don't believe that a man created man and this isn't a debate over whether that man was created.
The question I'm asking is if proof was uncovered that a man was responsible for creating the Earth and the human race would you be able to accept it?

I'm not being sexist about this, I'm merely using 'man' as an example. If that offends you then please consider the same question with a woman as the creator in question. Thank you.

Preferably please give reasoning behind your answer.
This isn't relating to the creation of the Universe, just to this planet and the people in it.

I'll be happy with undeniable proof of anything. That's why I'm an atheist.
I won't hold my breath for a proof of your hypothesis, if you don't mind, just as I'm not expecting anyone to offer more proof for god than there is for the tooth fairy.

Well...yeah. We live in a world where people think like lawyers most of the time, and would try to poke holes in "undeniable truth." But I'm a reasonably intelligent and rational person--; if your scenario stood up to solid investigational methods--then I'd be in.
But you know that many people wouldn't change their old beliefs...just as they won't right now when faced with proof of all sorts of things. 8)

no as there are to many Mysteries of the Universe which indicate a Master Plan far beyond the comprehension of a mere mortal no matter how intelligent he might be. there might be other more intelligent beings out in the universe but behind everything is the SUPREME ARCHITECT OF THE UNIVERSE who made the DIVINE PLAN.

no.... how could you believe that the ''creator'' is someone like you and me?? would you go now and pray to another man/women as your god?? many things that have been found out and even some with proof, we have found out later on that they are not real so this would 'obviously' be one of them.

It wouldn't matter if I accepted it. It's undiable proof. There would be no debate. I would at that point be wrong or right.

No. No evidence. We have the Holy Bible that tells us all truth - that is proof enough for me.
