The best dog I ever had was a Shitzu. They like to play but they are considered lap dogs. They are smart and easy to housetrain.

Both puppies and dogs can be very loving. Young puppies seem to take a while to really show compassion for their owners though. An older dog can be very caring. It just depends on how it was treated by others. Go to your local shelter and see puppies and dogs. Spend time with different ones and see which one you bond with! Some older dogs may not seem very loving but they just need time to come out of their shell. I have 2 puppies (one is 10 weeks and one is 20 weeks). The older one is much more loving but the younger one is catching up every day. It doesn't matter what sex you get.

I have to say i love golden retrievers, not only are they loyal, dedicated and loving but your better off with an older one if you don't want to take the time to realy train them as they do love and require a lot of attention. puppies are nice if you want to personalize the training but like i say this takes time and dedication no matter what the bread. i adopted my golden at the age of 4 yrs old and she still thinks she is a puppy but she was so much easier to train for my needs and she was already house broken so basic training was done. I love her she gives me more caring and love then i ever dreamed possible from a pet that is what goldens are know for "LOVE" and they will stay by your side no matter what if they think there is anything wrong with you. Rylee is my most compasionate friend :) oh as for gender in this bread it don't matter so what ever you prefer is fine both are wonderful.

Dachshunds are the best, they have great personalities and are extremely loyal and lovable. I have three, two males, and one female, the female is a miniature long-haired, she is sassy and smart. A mini dapple, he is a charmer, loves to throw his chews in the air and catch them and chase his shadow. A regular wienie, he is a sweetheart too, my baby. It doesn't matter if you get a puppy or dog either way they will take to you and want to be with you all the time, they love to go for rides too. what ever you decide to get just take care of it.

Best dog to fit caring & lovable would be the Pomeranian. Our female is 16 yrs. old and we've had her since a pup. She is affectionate, loyal, intelligent, intuitive, has never snapped at or tried to bite anyone including our mischievous cats.
For me a larger dog represents a potential to be able to overpower (at the time our daughter was young) no matter how well trained.
Pom's only overpower you with love and affection!

a domestic dog may be sturdy so as which you will bond with them from the start, yet they're additionally extra costly, pictures, dewormer, teething. With figuring out to purchase a canines, you do no longer in all threat understand their history or maybe nevertheless i'm pondering puppy adoption, i think of a domestic dog may be ultimate. I honestly tend to get alongside with boy canines extra, for some reason male canines like women and female canines like men

Labradors or golden retrievers. Not only are they loveable and will love you in return (as most dogs would, anyway) they're also very intelligent and very trainable. if it's your first dog, i would suggest you get it as a puppy. either sex would have its pros and cons. but whatever dog, just let yourself fall in love. that's how you'll find out if it's the one for you.
