there is no quarrentine comming in (hawaii however DOES have a quarentine!)
However id be extreemly wary of shipping a dog in from overseas, and if the dog is from africa...i hope you havent sent them any money yet ALL pets for sale in africa to the us are SCAMS!

Go here and look at the importing policies http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/animal.htm If you are importing a pup that is too young to have rabies, then it can come in but must be confined until it is old enough to have rabies and at least 30 days after that. You will need a health certificate, not required to bring into the US but it is required in most states. The health certificate usually needs to be done no less than 10 days before travel. If it is an older dog, proof of rabies must show that it has had rabies vaccine 30 days or more before coming into the US. There really is not a quarantee for the US. Good Luck

Neither should be occurring. yet American companies have the favor to make as huge a earnings as they could, so that they employ illegals for less expensive wages, and outsource American jobs to overseas international locations for less expensive wages. both way, the companies come out ahead and us confusing-operating human beings get the shaft again. i'm getting so p1$$ed off when I call HP shopper provider and get stuck on the phone with someone who won't be able to communicate comprehensible english.
