Here's how I'd word it: In the year 994, the king of Denmark named Svein, once again invaded England. The English people paid the Danes a lot of dane-geld in order to keep the Danish invaders away but that failed. In the year 1013, Svein the danish king launched a great attack on the Anglo-Saxons. By the year 1014, He had conquered most of England and became ruler. Later on in that same year, King Svein died.
In 1016, England was divided into two parts. One part was controlled by the Dans, and the other part was controlled by the Anglo-Saxons. Canute, who reined from 1016 to 1035, Was the son of the former King Svein. Canute had reached an agreement with the Wessex king. In this agreement, the Anglo-Saxon king promised that whichever king died first, the other one would become ruler of the whole country. Shortly after this agreement was made, the wessex king unfortunately died.
I hope that this answer helped you. Good Question, and best of luck to you and yours.

Although the English people paid the Danes a lot of dane-geld, in the year 994, Svein the King of Denmark planned to invade England again. But it didnt come to pass at that time.
In 1013 however, Svein launched a massive attack on the Anglo-Saxons. By the next year he had taken control of most of England and became the reigning monarch. Unfortunately he died that same year.
By 1016 England was divided in half. One half was controlled by the Danes and the other by the Anglo-Saxons. Canute, the son of Sevin, reached an agreement with the Wessex King that if one of them died the other would control the whole country. Unfortunately the Wessex King died soon after the agreement was made and Canute ruled the entire country.

I am no pro but hope this help
Despite the English paying the Danes money to keep them from invading England Svein the King of Denmark started to invade England again in the year 994. They paid the Danes with dane - geld ( Here you can introduce the dane - geld)
In 1013 Svein launched a great attack on the Anglo - Saxons.
The next year he had taken control of most of England and became the ruler. However this was short lived *** he died in the same year. ( It would be good if you could say who took over from him)
In 1016 England was divided in two parts. One part was controled by te Danes under the leadership of (Give a name if you can) the other part by the Anglo Saxon under (name if you can. If you can't give the names of the rulers just say) One part was controlled by the Danes and the ohter part by the Anglo Saxon's.
Canture the son of Svein and the Wessex King ( Is tis a name, maybe it should be King Wesex ruler of the Anglo Saxon) reached an agreement where in they agreed that should either one of them die the other would rule the whole country. Shortly after this King Wessex died.
I am unfortunatly not femiliar with this history so it is a bit difficult to say what exactly you should say but it seems that your presentation ends a bit abrubt. Maybe it could help if you could say who ruled after the Wessex king or King Wessex died.
Could it be that King Wessex was the ruler of the Anglo Saxsons. Like I said I dont know this history so I might be tatally wrong.
