id say, "ahhhh ha!, just as ive said all along...fairy tales". then i'd pat them on the head and tell them to run along and play w/their little pony god.

Our Creator "talks" to us in many ways, through the Holy
Spirit.
We have telepathic ability. But it's a little wierd having "voices"
one's head. That is how many pyschics work.
But we get answers to our questions all the time.
A word in a book. Something we hear in a conversation.
People think the Spirit doesn't work in thier personal life.
The Holy Spirit is called the Comforter.
Have you ever worried about something? And a realization,
a thought came into your mind, to help you better understand
the situation?
That was the Holy Spirit comforting you.

perhaps one is looking through the eyes of a child and remembers what GOD appeared to them as a young person. or perhaps they have no idea as to what form GOD looks like and this was as good an answer as any.

Can't say exactly if God spoke to him then he didn't necessarily see him and the bible says no man can see god and live.
