they were polytheists they believe in 360 or more gods and each god resided in a certain city. They rejected the idea of one God b/ each city's god was also it's source of revenue. Women were treated as property... literally. If you would like to know more about this i can recommend two books.

Bilal by HAL Craig is a book about the life of the prophet that presents it as a story... it's a very easy read

Mainly idolatry and paganism. There were a small handful called "Haneefs" who believed in one God, but there was no religion although they claimed to be followers of Abraham. Muhammad (pbuh) was a Haneef. This was in Mecca. In Mecca stands the Kaaba which at that time housed 360 idols, including a painting of Abraham and a statue of Jesus and Mary. The painting and statue of Jesus and Mary were not destroyed when Muhammad conquered Mecca and all of the idols were destroyed.

In outlying cities. there were tribes of Jews. In the neighboring country of Abyssinia, there was a Christian kingdom. The Abyssinian king was kind and allowed Muslims to seek refuge there.

By the way, beware of the hateful lying christians who say Allah is a moon god and there was an idol in the Kaaba dedicated to this moon god. In fact, they are purposly trying to confuse people with a god/idol called al-lat. Gerneally because they know Islam is the truth and are grabbing at straws due to their realization that trinity is a lie they force themselves to believe and the Jesus is not the son of God. To cover up their insecurities, they try to attack Islamic ideology which making their ignorance apparent. This gives them some relief from their lack of satisfaction with their false beliefs in Jesus (peace be upon him). Some of them can't really think for them selves and just mimic their minister/pastor/priest who are also quite ignorant and cursed by insecurity of his/her own faith. Not all Christians are like this, some are very open the the truth and tolerant. Others, however, will go to great lengths to stand by their lies.

Al-lah means The God, directly referring to the God of Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus and the prophets. Allah is the Arabic word for The God.

Occultism was the norm in the region before Islam was introduced. When exposing occultism in the family of Mohammed, we are not showing prejudice or unfairness to Muslims; rather, we are simply presenting the truth, as recorded in Islamic literature. Unfortunately, the Islamic historians, who recorded such occult phenomenon, failed to recognize that such occultism is directly contradictory to: the nature, the call, and the word of the true God.

Will our Muslim friends today fail to continue to be able to discern the real spiritual forces, which under lied Mohammed and his family? An honest study of the life of the members of the family of Mohammed will help you to clarify this problem. We will begin with the grandfather of Mohammed, Abu Mutaleb, who was known as the worshiper of Asaf and Naelah.

What was the True Religion of Abdul Mutaleb?

Asaf and Naelah were two Kuhhan, priests of the Jinn-devils. Tradition asserts that the gods transformed them into two stones, because they committed fornication inside the Kaa’bah of Mecca.

The statues of Asaf and Naelah were also placed on the well of Zamzam. Ibn Hisham, who edited the oldest book on the life of Mohammed, says these statues were worshipped at the well of Zamzam. He tells us the worshippers sacrificed their animals to the statues there. This suggests to us that the well of Zamzam was dedicated to the worship of the two priests of the Jinn, which the statues represented. It was Abdel Mutaleb, the grandfather of Mohammed, who dedicated the well of Zamzam to the two venerated Jinn priests and their statues. We draw this conclusion for many reasons. First, Abdel Mutaleb dug the well of Zamzam. Second, Abdel Mutaleb was one of the worshippers of the statues of the two Jinn priests. He was so consumed by occult worship that he wanted to sacrifice one of his own sons at the feet of the two statues at Zamzam. That son was Abdullah, the father of Mohammed. When Abdel Mutaleb was at the point of killing Abdullah with his knife, Abdel Mutaleb's brother rescued the boy.

The idea of sacrificing one’s son to the Jinn or their representatives, the venerated leaders and priests, is known, not only in Arabia, but also in other parts of the ancient world. Even to this day worshippers in the occult religions sacrifice children to devils. The fact that Abdul Mutaleb chose to sacrifice his son before these two statues reveals that the religion of the Jinn of Arabia was the religion to which he was most attached

When Grace age started when Jesus was crucified,, there was only one Teaching, as time went on there came in false prophets & started to divide the true Gospel, until now we have so many Ideals, & that is just about what they are, is Ideals That they got so far away from Truth. I base My salvation on Jesus Christ & what he did for me & that happened 2000 yrs. ago. Even the Apostle Paul warned that even in his days that false Prophet will come & were already there in Paul's time. A True Prophet of God will never draw attention to himself, nor will he have more than One wife (living wife) A false Prophet will tell you anything to carry you away from the Truth. Yes it seems like there is a 400 yrs. difference between Jesus Christ & Muhammed, But the TRUE SALVATION NEVER DIED IN THOSE 400 Yrs. He lives today.
