I live in India where cats are not recognized as living beings (no cat shelters out here), but animal rights activists make a din about dog rights, as a result of which the stray dog population has reached mammoth proportions. I had a sweet, loving cat who would have celebrated his 1st birthday on October 7, but he disappeared last week. He never turned up and we assumed sadly that the rabid packs of street dogs had killed him. It was a great shock to us when he turned up a whole week later, emaciated. All the fur and skin from his right chest, right shoulder, and right paw right up to the claws had been ripped away. The exposed muscle was gangrenous and rotting plus he was peeing and shitting blood. The sight was the stuff of nightmares and we really don't know how he crawled home in that condition We took him to the vet who said it was a case of old dog bite but he died before the vet could do anything. Is there any way to avenge his sufferings apart from destroying the dogs?

It only seems so, because we pay more attention when bad things happen to the good people. If anything, the opposite is true. I think that "bad people" eventually "reap what they sow."
As far as animals, I think good animals are less street smart. Having humans around to meet their needs, they become more secure. They might not be as apt to learn to defend self by fighting, hiding, running etc.

There is nothing that can be don to avenge his suffering. It is not good to get revenge on human or animal. It only harms yourself.

I don't know why, but what you say is very true. Bad things seem to happen to the good more than to the bad.I guess we'll just have to wait until God decides to reveal the answer to us.

Please read PSALM 37. It will answer your question beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Also evil people have their reward here on earth, they are not laying up their treasure in Gods Storehouse in heaven. I am not speking about money.

PSALM 37 again my friend
