sometimes I run outside and scream then I feel much better...of course people think I am crazy....but then they know I am crazy....but they love me...gives them someone to laugh at
So I guess maybe you need to find your crazy workmate and stand next to them....it will make you feel much better about yourself!

Realise that you have your place in the cosmic order of the Universe and that each thought you have creates a feeling, each feeling you have creates a behaviour and every behaviour you assert has a consequence.
Would you like good consequences or bad ones? If you have a sense of self-esteem, you'll choose to enjoy good consequences.

The minute I start to feel depressed, I pray and say out loud the Biblical scripture of 2 Timothy 1:7.."God does not give us a spirit of fear , but one of love, peace and a sound mind"..speak these words out loud and the enemy will leave you alone. If what we are feeling is contrary to God's words ,then we know it comes from the enemy and we fight him with scripture. God bless you and I pray you have a blessed day.

My first intuition is to defend myself, so I stay normal so no one knows what I'm thinking, untill I can put things into perspective, then usually I'm ok. Deap breaths have played a part of it trying to control myself.

i find taking a deep breath closing your eyes and all that other stuff useless.
try thinking of something that makes you happy or do something you like or something that makes you happy, for me i would watch a comedy movie, or maybe go play basketball or just hang out with some of my friends.

Definetly boost up your adrenaline by jogging, running or doing some kind of "distracting" chore or heart pumping excercize. Sure helps my autistic son when he has meltdowns and can't quit crying.

When I had councelling for depression I was taught to have an 'Attitude of Grattitude', which really helped me, I made a list of the things I was grateful for and I read it when I feel sad.
