Take him to the docs and find out what they say.

Some times he may be saying this just for getting your sttention on him. But be careful. although it is 3 weeks you have to check if there is any infection. Check the dog too? And be in attention if the cat looks so dumb or so furios. May be the pain may be because of jamming of cells at the time of the bite. However a medical check good.

He could be crying wolf!! But then again he may have something under the scar: a bit of broken cat claw or muck....

Best way is make an appointment for the Docs. If your son suddenly feels better than you know he's been pulling your leg....

Good luck.

If your son is still quite young he prbably just remembers that it hurt. If you are concerned that something is wrong take him to a doctor, otherwise reassure him that you know that it hurt when that nasty old cat scratched him.

Is he very young? It could be that he means he remember it hurt at the time and when he thinks about it now he remembers the pain but this is his best explaination?

hes doin it for attn. depending on how old he is now, tell him to get over it, not so direct, if hes a baby. but 2-3 and up, yeah tell him that it dont hurt and to stop sayin it does. he want to be babied and hes lookin for attn. dont let em get over on u now, or they will alwayz. and dont ever think bout if ur doin wrong, girl theyre ur kids, u bore them, ur raisin em, and ur a grown *** woman, who hopefully knows how to handle her own, doin the best u know how and will cont to do so until ur kids are grown.

You need to get him to the doctor asap. Cats carry infections in their claws.

how old is your son? young kids tend to dwell on a sore. thats the attention desire.....even if they are getting enough.
