I am 25 years old, male and I am not overweight but I am just worried because I know they are a bit unhealthy. But I do really fancy one though!

I had the fry up and it was very tasty. Think I might have a McDonalds for dinner now. Thanks for all the encouragement.

Most likely not going to be the best answer with any doctor or health type people but I am not bothered.
Why is it you have to eat this and that and cant eat this and that? Years ago people ate what they wanted most of it was good fresh home made food none of this microwaved, ready meal rubbish or nuts, seaweed, lentals and all that other health rubbish for that matter.
You eat what you want and enjoy every single mouthful guilt free!
To much is put on what you can and cant eat and there is nothing wrong with a fry up in my opinion.
When I was at school thirty years ago we ate all food that was made on school site so what if we groaned at cabbage or frog spawn it was all home cooked and fresh.
EAT AND ENJOY IGNORE THE FOOD POLICE!

"Fried" is not nec'y a bad thing. Depends on how you fry it.

Use a light oil like canola or vegetable and use sparingly. Stay away from frying in butter.

If you have a fairly inexpensive pan - use a light cooking spray (not good for the more expensive brands)

Try this receipe:

Toast 2 halves of an english muffen in your toaster (or on grill)
Fry 2 slices of ham to your taste (using a tad of oil or a quick spray) aand set it aside.

Fry an egg in the same pan using the oil/spray already there

Layer in this fashion: 1 half of the muffin, slice of ham, egg, a little shredded chedder, 1 slice of ham the other half of muffin.
(add bacon too if you want)

Fryin os ok, as long as you do it to the healthiest you can and not too often. 1-2 times per week and it shouldn't affect your diet.

I'm like you - not overweight but love unhealthy food! I think the key is not to beat yourself up over it. Go ahead and eat it for lunch if you like and make a healthy dinner tonight. It all balances out :)

Having a fry up every once in a while won't hurt, but having one every day will. Indulge yourself today, but why not take a walk or have a swim at the weekend to balance it out. Just watching your usual diet and staying active will mean you can indulge yourself every once in a while!

If that's what you want, go for it. I read that if you are hungry for something in particular, it is better to eat it in small portions then trying to compensate by choosing something else because you end up eating it anyway after you've eaten all the other stuff.
