Tell you waht is a great ice breaker...tell her the problem you have from the very first moment. Tell her that you are not boring but just get tongue tied...tell her you are only like this with people that you REALLY like and what to get to know better.
All of this will probably take a lot longer than you think, will mean you are talking anyway and will at least let her know what to expect. She can then help you out!
I bet once you've got over this hurdle for about half an hour, she won't be able to shut you up! Good luck and above all ENJOY!

Have a think about some things you could talk about prior to the meeting. Then you can initiate a conversation about them if there is a long awkward silence. Just make sure you really listen to her when she is talking, nod & smile where appropriate, so at least she will see you are interested in what she is saying. That's real important. Be an active listener and if you do that, you might not have those long awkward silences. Good luck.

Stop over analysing...it's only in your head that everything you say sounds lame! Because if you like someone you don't mind what you talk about cos your interested in them and thus the conversation. But some fall back tpoics could be weekend plans/weather/music taste etc. Just see it as a good opportunity to find out something new about a person and their interests. Relax, you'll be fine!

Just talk about the things that you've talked about in texts. The key is not to try too hard to be intersting. The best thing is to ask her what interests her and then talk about that. That way she will be leading the conversation and doing most of the hard work. As time goes on the conversation will develope naturally and before you know it, hours will have passed and you'll be making arrangements for your next date.

Ok..first of all..relax...you can think of some questions beforehand if you get really stuck so you have something prepared but if you like her and vice versa it might just come naturally. Anyway, I wish you luck, be yourself and have some questions ready in case.

Safe topics:
Trying to establish common interests...
About your families
Your childhood
Travel
Music
Film
Food & Drink
Taboo topics (i.e. don't mention them):
Sex
Politics
Religion
Careers
Your exes (admittedly once you get to a certain age you appreciate that you will both have had exes - unless you aren't normal!)
Drunken exploits
Just remember not to monopolise the conversation!

I believe women generally like it if a man shows an interest in their life,so ask her about her family, work or studies, favourite music, etc, show you're sincere about what they are all about.Good luck!

not try to find common points, u dont need to be the same.this makes u stuck.
try to catch the sense of humor.. if u can make her laugh, u hit the target, dont worry.
just in case for silent, keep some emergency ''simple past tense'' starts on ur mind.
I saw....../ I ate....../ I went to ..... yesterday/last week..etc ...it was ...
it works mostly, good luck to ya !
