Islam, as the word is used in the Quran, refers to the natural religion that God has delivered to man through many prophets. Culiminating in the prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and them all.
As such it needs neither reformation nor can it be destroyed. It is the light of guidance for all mankind.
