even the most primitive people have an idea of god whom they worship, a higher being who controls everything.. i dont want to believe in a god. but in some way, i believe in him. half of me does, the child in me. the other half, the logical one, does not believe in God. So at this moment, i'll say, Yes, I can admit that i seriously doubt the existence of God.. I mean, we've learned alot since then. The primitive people have not advanced academically that's why they leave all the mysteries to 'God'. There are so many things we do not know yet.

what I call God, I have perceived to exist.
being absolutely honest, I have no more doubt that the God I believe in exists, than I do of gravity,
in fact to be totally honest I have more doubt in gravity than I do in God.
I also have no more "Faith" in God than you do in Gravity.
the only "issue" with this, is that for me to try to show you, from what you've already said, proves it would be like you trying to prove that colors exist, and can be seen with an organ that is naturally in your body, to a person who was born without eyes.
can you accept the hypothetic possibility that for some people, they are able to perceive what is, in a way that makes it such that for them, its not an irrational thing at all?

I agree with ~babygurl~ . That's why I'm Pagan. Does everyone always have to believe in "GOD"?? Personally, I've done the research and everything. I've found out what I needed to know. It should always be a personal thing. Believe whatever you believe, especially if you're Mormon--though I don't particularly care for them.

I seriously truly don't believe in god!! Others seriously truly believe in god. Some don't know, some believe in other things.
Each person needs to form their own opinions and beliefs based upon their own research.

I always doubt because I cannot see God with my eyes and I always hear about Him anywhere from home to this page. But no matter how I would like to dismiss the idea of junking Him, the more I become beholden to Him. Do you know why?
It's because of Faith. And the reason? Jesus Christ revealed it. The Prophets revealed it. History, isn't it? I was not born then at their times, but I read and began to know. How else would I learn except through knowing. How else would I know except through reading.
I even believe that Atheists know that they don't know

Yeah, I think you're right about this. I didn't have any sudden revelation, but during my quiet time, when I was able to think uninterrupted, I realized over time that there simply isn't any god and the only honest thing to do was to admit to that fact.

I look at a watch and know that there is a watchmaker. I don't think that someone randomly grabbed some materials and threw them out of an airplane and they landed in the store all formed with the price tag on it.
... I look at the creation and I know that there is a creator.
