All of one of us always develop some sort of fantasy, developing love for someone who does not exists is not new phenomenon. Normally we develop this fantasy around some cult figure (now a days film stars as appear on reel life and do not exist in real life). Many a times in premature age we develop this fantasy and break ourselves to create a new one. Its ongoing exercise and may continue to old age also. And back of the mind we know that this is only fantasy not the reality.
This is called visualisation and psychologists consider it is most natural for the creatures have frontal lobe (seat of emotions in the brain).
So, if you have come to realize that person whom you love even does not exist, don't bother visualise new one and enjoy.
Visualisation also considers to be healthy exercise for developing mental faculties.

One time or the other, the person u love most will die and disappear from the face of earth. It happens to everybody.
So the question comes: what will happen to the person who lost somebody:
Nothing. U have to move on. Forget the past and start loving somebody else.

This is some psycho babble! wake up and smell the coffee. We are real people who exist and and have real problems. How in the world you love someone who did not exist! Virtual love needs virtual healing! Go imagine that nothing happened and you will be cured.
