About to go on them and hear they don’t even work, what’s the scoop? Has anyone else successfully treated there’s through other means. Prostate massage? physical therapy? diet? What antibiotic were you prescribed to help treat it? What kind of physician do you recommend? Please help I’m too young for this I’m in my early 20’s.

do not massage the prostate as this can cause dissemination of the infection and make things harder to treat

antibiotics are a good way of treating prostatitis

however the prostate (like the lung and the kidney) is a tricky spot that the bacteria have many places to hide in, and their defences can often make it difficult to get control of the infection - hence the course of antibiotics is often a lot longer than you might expect for a simple urinary infection

prostate infections are not that uncommon with younger men sulfa drugs are used to address the infections and cure.just go to your primary care doctor
