Seems as though God is either non-existent, or a confused, petulant ego-maniac. What do you think?

I am God/Allah etc. etc.
You can use all your logic as long as you believe in what I have written in my holy books & have full faith I exist. If you dont then I will cast you into everlasting hell faster than you can say Jack rabbit.

I think you need to open your mind just a bit more.

maybe a big bit...

hows this for a consideration.

possibly, there are many ways to belive in God. the extremes being Pure Logic, and Pure Faith.

Pure Logic would be that you get to a degree of understanding that you understand things, and the dynamic of things is such that you cannot deduce logically that things truly had no designing force, that is too many variables coming together too perfectly over too long of a time, to be considered rationally feasable without an intent behind it.

Pure Faith, would be like someone born without sight, beliving in color. belief in a deity because they were taught so, or something to that, with no logic/evidentiary sequence as such, leading to it.

now with the current state of science and such, I think most do not consider it such that we can "deduce" the existance of a God (the definition of which is another question as well) in that way.

but of course theres another angle, that is perception of things that are entirely beyond the scope of material science.
the 2 extremes here are of course, those who have no recognized sense beyond their organic senses, and those that do have such senses.

now within these, there are those on each side that have their own extreme... some who declare that since they can't perceive it, it does not exist or unilaterally is unknowable. or those who recognize this as a possible thing even though they dont personally have it.
of course, some who DO have it, do not accept it, but I think theres less polarization in those who have it,

for those who have it, it entirely changes the dynamic of the logical existance of God or not, because they can observe things that lead them to the "does exist" conclusion far ahead of the pure material science's deduction of such, since they have more information, and that information is more direct and relevant to the question.

Faith and Logic go hand in hand.

Although God it capable of doing things outside the realm of this world why would he? Its our interpretation of scriptures that needs to be scrutinized - we are humble beings and do not have the power to understand without the help from the almighty.

The information is out there, should you choose to accept it or reject it.

I really should ignore ignorant questions but just for what its worth in case God should choose to use you in a more positive way someday I will share a truth with you.The truth is that logic and faith are not independent of each other. the truth shold you spend your valuable time seeking it is available to you. God created the world he created man who being creation was fallable. God understood this when he created him but chose fallable to infalable because robot creatures were not what he was after. Now being man was fallable God provided the law to show him his need for God. Now what the law did for man was to reveal to him his faults god knew man could not live up to it as the nature of man is sinful. Now God is righteous and could not link himself to sin and sinful man was now left to his own distruction according to his sin as the wages of sin is death. God loved his creation inspite of his sinful nature so God provided a way for him God cam to the world as a man to be tempted and to overcome sin and to be tortured and die in your place so that all who acept his atonement could be forever with him. that is the gospel the good news and it is available to everyone and those who have value in these things will seek God until they find him and God will reveal himself to those who seek him and have a value in him. Those who have no value in these things will choose not to seeek God and will not have revelation therefore will be left with mans logic and miss the truth that was available to them. Now there is a way that seems right ot a man and this way ends in death. But those who seek a spiritual understanding will be granted revelation and will know the truth and they will be saved and will live forever with God.It is more than logical it is absolutely factual and true.

It's a test. You just failed. Life is a test to see how much you can cope. If you sin, Satan prosecutes to God about you. You get punished. It's a very clever system really.
