I went for swimming but found it difficult to move my legs up from back under water. Are there any exercises that I can do to make the body flexible for swimming?

Yes there are many. You can do padmasana, Bhujangasana, Bajrasana, Ardhachandrasana etc. All will help you make your body flexible. But only thing you have to do is to perform them regularly and at a fixed time of the day. And do them in empty stomach, preferable time is morning.

Most Yoga exercises make your body more flexible, and your mind, too. You can find good instruction books for Yoga in most public libraries
