never to tell a man you love him first! let him say it first. I never got the chance to ask him why he said that, and we lost contact, so can anyone tell me why he thought it is better not to say it first?

girl that is so crazy .... i had a guy friend tell me that too... and when i ask him why..... he said... you dont want to scare the guy off do you...i was like ****....lol...

because if a ladie makes the first move, guys have this conception that she`s a whore, ***** or gold digger etc etc and there is a 90% chance that a guy might take advantage of you or even use you because you acted on your feelings.... things have changed now its the 21 century so women have the rght to express their feelings..... its definitely not a crime and there is no harm in doing so..

Thats not true really, i for one hate having the males always expected to be the 'first' in doing things. Sure alil bit of chivalry and fairy tale can be expected but it shouldn't be the iron rule. Id be so relieved for example, if i felt strongly for the girl and she said it first.

He was right.When a girl express her love her face value will go down as boy may think this otherwise which is why a first move should be from boys side only.

It is on individual base... If the guy is little bit shy and modest this may help.

He's full of crap! my fiance was the first one to say "I love you" It made me feel special and excited.
Don't hide your feelings, if you love someone, tell them!
There's not enough love in the world anyway so don't start hiding it or we're all doomed.
