Oh' and just to let you know HE texted me, I wrote back and it's taking ages for a reply. Again, HE texted first! So he obviously has his phone with him.

i think it`s because of the small keys on the phones know adays,and they have thick fingers and keep pressing wrong letter and have to delete it,

We need time to hone our replies! The subtle nuances of the male sense of humour are easily lost in a text; something we might think is brain-meltingly wiity when said may not come across quite as Oscar Wilde-like when written. And we all know that sometimes an innocent comment could be misconstrued, which only gets us in trouble.

I dont think anyone knows hun - you're totally right in what you're saying though! I mean text a girl and you'll be almost guaranteed a reply in 5 seconds - text a lad and you could get an answer 5 days later!!! xx

My BF always texts back straight away. Most blokes though don't think like us gals, they can't do 2 things at once so he's probably busy and you'll be next on the list!

Guys always take ages to text back because their brains dont work as fast as girls brains do and they have to think wot to write without sounding to sloppy or not sloppy enough.

because sometimes we've got better things to do than keep our phones up our rectums so we can know every little time they beep. guys phones are for their conveniance, not the callers. if i don't feel like talking/texting i just ignore my phone, even if its right next to me.
