after the collapse of the USSR, the USA has become a super cop in the unipolar world with an eye on the vast oil wealth in the middle east and bullying other developing countries like India. it blatantly invaded on Iraq without any reason . in the past also it was defeated by patriotic people of Vietnam but it did not learn a lesson at all. the reason is unless it conquers the oil rich ed countries like Iraq, Iran, its economy would not survive as the most of the Latin American countries have elected socialist governments and Venezuela, one of the suppliers of oil to the USA is being ruled by a socialist, Chavez, who does not dance to the tunes of the USA.

As a superpower in the world, the US has a responsibility to act as a big brother. This is a global world nowadays. Not like in the 1800s and even early 1900s when there was not the technology that we have today and all the people of the countries of the world could just carry on their lives without much, if any, concern about what was going on in the rest of the world. Nowadays, we have to make it our business to know what is going on everywhere else in the world in order to survive and not allow ourselves to be wiped by another countries.
