Do you mean a story that he needs to bring to class...like from a book, or a story of a pet that he has? Did you mean competition? If this is a story that he was supposed to write, then help him out by giving him a subject and ask questions like "what was the bird's color? Where was the bird flying to? Does the bird have friends or make friends?" Basics are best with KG students...an overall moral to the story kind of ending. What did the bird or owner learn?
