yep--you can get blueprints/schematics etc and build from scratch or get one in kit form..sizes vary from a few inches long to full size. (ie) rotorway exec-90 or wall-mart toy department.

No it is not technically imposible. But this also depends on the size of your 'miniature' heli.
lemme explain this to you.
I suppose u kno that the rotor blades have an aerodynamic shape just like the wings of a plane. so when the width of these rotor blades become comparable to air partilcles like dust or air molecules, the laws of aerodynamics take an entirely differnt turn and u then have to remodel ur heli according to that.
In the same way, if the blades are very big, there will be problems of upward thrust.

Yes it is possible. Do u watch news that there are people do the miniature helicopter using 100 pcs of double A batteries, I think it is in China cause i watch news here in the philippines

actually it is quite simple, take some carboard and cut out a shape that looks similar to a elongated oval, then dril a hole in the middle, place a dowel in the middle, put dowel between palms and move them quickly at opposing directions, helicopter. LOL
