My ex was or is one and he hounded me off the database which is off limits to make a dating agency out of. I found out later that this was his way of meeting girls... Are they all a bunch of untrustworthy w ankers?

Well to put it nicely, I would never date a recruitment consultant. Having been for an interview to be one myself, I now know what is expected of them and why they turn out the way they do. You need to be extremely money driven to be in that job, work long hours, and deal with a lot of rejection. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people in the recruitment business too, but most of them are very materialistic. And what that guy did to you by getting your details out of the database for a date is just very unprofessional to say the least.

Hold on a minute people..... We are not all like that I think you were just unlucky to be with a complete as*hole. I have been in recruitment for 18 months and me and my boyfrind have been together for over 3 years all my job has done has given us the opportunity to have lovely holidays and a nice home as I can earn good money if I work at it! So this guy would have been a complete **** if he was a recruitment consultant or a dustbin man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucky escape I say for you!

My ex is a recruitment consultant, he wouldn't do omething like that because it is wrong. What kind of saddo needs to trawl the copmpany data base to get dates. In my experiance Recruitment Consultants have a bust social life with lots of client meetings and drinks so not the best partner.

Sure sounds like it to me. This guy is not a nice man. And if he's REALLY bugging you - it's harassment and it's a crime. If you WANT him to leave you alone - tell him - keep a copy. If he keeps it up-report him to the Sheriff. Also to the website - they'll kick him off, or at least block him from bothering you. If they don't - report THEM!

Maybe he was just a bit lonely and unconfident, so he had to use more 'unorthodox' ways to meet girls. Its good to be armed with a bit of insider info beforehand, right?

I say give him another chance!
