Credit unions will be your best bet. Most people who have not established credit will require a co-signer in order to secure a loan. If you manage to make every payment on time (Or better yet, early!) your credit will grow quite nicely and it will be a great start to your future.
Go to any auto dealer and pick out a car and get some information on it to supply your bank/credit union. They will look at the car, look up the value and tell you if they will make the loan based on whether or not they feel they could get their money back out of the car should you fail to pay.
Simply get a family member who is willing, and apply for the loan and take the payment to the dealer and drive away with your new car :)
Good luck, stay away from credit cards, and do well with your credit, it will mean much more to you in your future than you can immagine.
