if a guy goes out of his way to talk to you, like calling or texting to see how u r. does that mean he is interested? or just wants a close friend? becuase i have heard that if a guy doesn't like you then he won't go out of his way to talk to you.i welcome any opinions, advice from men and women. thanks guys!

Yes we do go out of the way but we wont jump off of a bridge. I've done it before, like texting a girl late at night to say i'm thinking about her. He's interested. He wants to be more than just a close friend.

For the most part....yes....If guy goes out of his way to call or text you and he knows that your single....its more than likely he is interested and wants to find out more about you. Of course, you can't always mistake that by maybe he just wants a friend.
The way you can tell if a guy is interested he continues to call, you hear friends telling you that he is asking about you, flirts, he's single and pays alot of attention towards you. Check it out!
The truth is also that a guy will NOT be doing much if he feels not interested in someone. Therefore, test it out, see how he responds to you and acts around you....give it time......and you will realize if he is interested or not.

like all humans a we want what we cant have and when we get it the fad wears off. I mean who is to say if he likes you as a friend or potential lover? He could be an honest trustworthy man wanting love and romance or just like women as friends as much as males.

Intentions could be anything. But it certainly means that he is looking for something from you. It could be personal, or professional. Yu would have to find his intentions for calling, if you can do this then you have the reason.

well , it would seem like it huh? if a guy doesn't like you , he will avoid you. if you are a good friend , he will go out of his way. if he is interested in you , in other ways he will go out of his way. so it can go eighter way....you have to discet what he is saying in those phone calls and text message's.
