It's not that great. It tastes bitter to me...Camenbert, on the other is like Brie in texture and appearence, but is much yummier! It's soft, creamy and mild, with a nutty, sweet/sour flavor. Great with praline nuts. YUM!!

Brie cheese is a soft cheese. The inside is a very soft, creamy tasting cheese. The outside is sharper and is actually an edible mold covering.
I have to be in the right mood to eat brie...but the best ones I've had have been room temperature and a bit more expensive than most of the ones sold in the grocery stores.
Try it with an open mind!

I love Brie!! I am French and positively love all cheeses... Brie is a whithe crusted semi-soft cheese, with a delicate flavor when young. As it ages the flavor becomes quite stronger. It is kind of like Camenbert but not so strong.... Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I adore it; it's firm on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside and has a very peculiar taste due to mould that covers it...Mmmmmm.....
