My puppy recently has been infected by 'Canine Distemper'. I know there's no cure to it but Im not willing to put her to sleep yet without trying anything...Now she's on medication which is like 10 of them....Too much for a small pup huh? Is there any natural herb I could try on?

The ones I could find need to be mail ordered, so would likely not be there in time to help..> http://www.nativeremedies.com/petalive/vipro-canine-distemper-symptoms-treatment.html
this article states that they do help> http://www.healthyhappydogs.com/Article.Distemper

I would recommend that you counsel with Marina Zacharias, at >

as you are in a hurry, I would recommend telephoning. If her dad answers, he is a retired vet, and also very helpful..both are great to talk with, and she may recommend something that you can get locally.. (Marina is an Holistic practitioner)
I asked her permission to post her info on this forum, and she said she would be happy to help where she can...she is on Pacific Standard Time.

Unfortunately, there isn't a real cure for canine distemper, which is why they vaccinate. The kindest thing you could do for your puppy is let the vet put her to sleep. The medication is just delaying the inevitable. I'm sorry, but that's the honest truth. Have a cry, and then take your small furry friend to the vet. Cry some more, and let her/him go. I know it's not an easy decision, but it is the kindest one.
