You could try to do a "sfc /scannow" without quotes in the run box, you'll need the Windows XP CD to run the scan.
If that doesn't work to do a repair, insert the Windows XP CD and reboot your computer, and boot from the CD. When it gets to the install windows screen select install Windows. At this point it'll scan your hard drive for previous versions of Windows and will ask you to repair, select repair. All your files will remain intact and it will just reinstall the Windows files.
Just to be on the safe side it be good to backup all your files, it's good thing to do to begin with just in case something happens that you're not expecting.

Try changing the target of Virus.
I think it's about autorun.
First, goto Tools menu \ Folder Option
in the view tab, select Show hidden files and folders
and then uncheck Hide protected system files
and then goto the root dirs (C: , D: )
find if there is a file named AUTORUN.INF
if so delete it and restart the computer.
u'll be fine...........

i think when you deleted those virus files, some of the windows files have been deleted cos they were infected. you can insert the Windows XP cd and run repair or as a last resort....reinstall XP.

an same got here about to my computing device, you could both purchase a real xp, or you could erase your present day xp and instal it again (time ingesting, besides as think about to instal majority of classes again). in the different case, you could bypass to the upload/get rid of classes tab contained in the administration panel and get rid of IE7. it really is going to assist...
