My best friend is a male. He calls me a couple weeks ago to annouce his engagement to his girlfriend, whom i hadn't met yet since he moved out of town. The problem is that I finally got a chance to meet her. My friend has never been happier, but how do i tell him that his fiance has AIDS....please help.

200% sure.....lets just say that someone, not me, but someone works in the medical field and was there to witness her results. I figure that he doesn't know because he is pretty niave, and I am sure that she has manipulated his thoughts. On top of everything else,....he thinks she is a virgin, in reality she is the complete opposite. I just saw them today, but I am going to go out with him this weekend....please help.

You know him better than anyone else on here, so your best bet is to use that to your advantage. Tell him without telling him, hint about safe sex and testing but dont reference it to anything. Just be like your wondering about being safe (make it like your personal confession to him abuot yourself) Tell him that your wanting to be more safe in your sexual experiences and that he should do the same. Then tell him that your going to get yourself tested and its a good ideal for him to as well as he can say before he gets married that he is certain that hes clean and free of anything that might harm him. The only problem is knowing where to stop with all this and make it seem like something that popped into your mind. Dont be to blount, or forward with it, and try not to let it seem like there is something you know but dont wanna tell him.

Depending on the laws in your country, if you know of a "crime" and Aid can kill, you better be sure you say something to the guy.
Be very sure she has Aids or that will get you in trouble too if your wrong.
But if she does have Aids and she does know it, she legally cannot withhold that information (from him or any other partner)

Well first your gonna need proof if you do decide to say anything to avoid a catastrophe. Second I would take him aside with that proof and tell him what you think, and about being tested. There really is no easy way to do it.

If you have the opportunity to talk to his fiance right away, then I would tell her that if she doesn't tell him, you will. If you aren't able to contact her, then you owe it to your friend to tell him immediately that his fiance has AIDS. He needs to know immediately because his health is at risk. It is just that simple. He needs to know, and you have the obligation as his friend to make sure that he hears this info. either from her or yourself.

well you tell him and you find a way to prove what you are saying if you care about him at all you wont keep your mouth shut and 2 you need to make her come clean as well there is a law out that if she know she has HIV/aids
and she doesn't tell her partner it is attempted murder and if he has it now it's murder 1. Ware you all from?

If you're sure she's got aids, tell the guy. If you care for him at all, you'll tell him, but make sure you can prove it. You don't want him getting pissed and getting infected because he thinks you're lying to him.

Okay...how do you know that this individual has AIDS? If you know for sure then tell him, but it is strange that someone would get engaged with out telling the other person that he/she has AIDS!??

How do you know someone you dont know or have met has aids?Anyway if she has aids you must tell him and reveal your source of info,its probaly too late now tho.

wow that must be a very hard place to be in. But thats what friends are made for you have to tell him no matter what thats what friends are for. WHO cares if he think your liein or whatever esle his life is more important you really have to tell him before its too late or it could already be too late

if you dont tell him you will feel bad and when he finds out oh bummer on you- if you do tell him there is a chance he wont believe you- if not tell him to get blood tests to prove it before marriage...she should have came clean with him unless she is looking for someone to care for her and pay for her meds.
