or do you mean set her STRAIGHT ?
if this, tell it straight to her face, no beating around the bush, its already hard for us to understand them women (HECK, they have the same problem with us men too). Tell her how you want it to work, how things are going to be. If it doesnt work out, dun cry over it, there are gazillions of girls out there. PICK ANOTHER

i assume you mean "get"? well that depends on the girl. compliments go a long way, as long as you mean it, and don't overdo it or she'll think you're creepy.
