Serious answers please - this is really distressing to her. She has an usual amount of hair growth on her neck, face and chest and has become horribly depressed about it. Is there anything at all that can be done to help her. We've been to the doctors and it's nothing medical.
All the hair removal products say not to use on neck or chest so I'm stuck as to how I can help her, and I desperately want to see her smiling again.
She's so embarrassed about it, I hate to see her like this.
Does anyone know of anything that can be used in these areas?
Please help me, this girl deserves to be so happy, and I want to help her with this so badly.

Have you been to a dematologist? They can use lasers to remove excess hair permanently. Here is a site you can get more information from. Bless you for caring for this young woman and wanting to help her.

My daughter had the same problem and I took her to an endocrinologist in Chicago and he prescribed something. I'm sorry to not be of more help but it was a real long time ago. There are things out there for that problem. She still has a hair problem at almost 30 but it is much much better now. I feel for your teen because I remember mine not wanting to go to school or any school functions. Good Luck

Has she had blood test done to check her hormones and thyroid gland cos it sounds like she has an imbalance going on their. As with all the other answers the only real way to get rid of it is laser.
Good Luck

Is the girl able to shave it of using a razor blade because that is the only other way I know of removing hair that is unwanted.

The only thing I can think of is laser treatment to kill hair at the root. However this would be expensive.

Could you try laser hair removal? That is expensive but permanent.
