I wrote a question about my daughter having behavioural problems
I explain that I WAS in a violent relationship but she was the same before I met him
And I get a load of advise about leaving him and how it can't be helping her
WAS means not anymore
how do you add further information to a question ??

Good on you for getting out of the violent relationship, it's YOU it was hurting most, although children take in more than we could ever imagine. I didn't see your original question, but it is your right to have your daughter properly assessed and treated for her problems, so make sure you get everything that is due to you. And good luck!

It sounds like your daughter is on an emotional merry go round. You have obviously had at least two relationship that your daughter has been aware of - maybe you should concentrate on bringing some stability to her life for while leave off the man hunt. Be consistant with you daughter, let her know what behaviour you find acceptable and make her aware of the consequences to this. Follow through everything and remain calm. Don't let her see you getting cross and angry about things, she will see this as the green light to copy you. Children are fantastic at learning from the people around them, show her how you expect her to behave by being a good role model.

If you continue to have problems speak to her teachers at school and your GP, Good Luck.

I don't know I also don't understand people who leave stupid answers like 'good question' anyway I didn't see your original question so don't know your daughters age and did not see any of the other answers so just in case have you approached the school and had an educational psychologist to see her alternatively you could speak to the health visitor or GP these could both arrange an assessment in a specialist children's unit.
Hope it all works out

Each child comes to this world like dry mop, ready to suck up anything that they come across, the good, the bad, the ugly. Certain things which they pickup from home, the neighborhood, the community, the school, can corrode their brain.when this happens it takes a lots and lots of love and affection to ceanup the mess. For the child's sake and your's - like you use a lot of cleanup a dirty mop -use a lot of love and affection to cleanup her hurt spirits try to find the little good things in her, and encourage her - trying to find fault and punishing only further deteriorates the situation causing irrepairable damages

A) Daftness is inversely proportional to the depth of the gene pool they were created in. I.E. the shallower the pool the dafter they are.

I never read your original question, but as a general rule, violent relationships do nobody any favours. including you, family and friends.
