Well we have a Timber Wolf now. Have had Dobermans in the past and was bit by a Pit. But ALL dogs can be vicious.. No matter what they are or there size but in this match up. I think it would play out like this. The Doberman is OUT right off the bat. There long leg are going to cause them to reach out to bite. Leaving the neck open to attack. As well they are very thin skinned, and are more bark than bite. Don’t get me wrong I love these dogs and my mom has 2 of them. Just not what they were made for. Now with him gone you have the Pitt an Wolf this is a heck of a match. The Pitt has tremendous jaw pressure and built like a bull dozer. BUT there thin skinned. The wolf has a THICK coat and hide as well he would have a few extra pounds on the Pitt ours weighs in at 150 pounds and they can go 175.. These thing are like the Great Whites of the prairies. A wolf even working alone can take down a Moose or Elk those weigh 1500 pounds. On top of that the Wolf would be a experienced killer. You don’t survive that many years of evaluation and change being a wimp. I feel from seeing them in action, the Pit would be circled and nipped at till he became wore down the Wolf would then sucker him in to exposing its throat. And it would be over the wolf would open its MASSIVE jaws over it neck and strangle it till it is weekend further and then with a shaking pulling motion finish it by ripping its throat open. And it would be a Pitt Bull smorgasbord..

Calling any of these ruthless is just wrong. They're not ruthless and, also, a wolf is not a dog - it is a wolf. Are you thinking of a wolf hound?

Anyway, I don't know doberman's very well (except to say they are beautiful pups) but I know pit bulls and they are just loving loyal dogs that have been misused. None of them should be vicious and, if they are they are probably being abused by some ruthless (and useless) person who is unsure of his masculinity and this makes him feel tough - and he'll always just be a wimp. Just my opinion.

I have two female Pit bull's, a female Chow, and a female Wolf. I honestly believe that my dogs wouldn't fight unless one of the children were some way threatened. But my two Pits stick together no matter what. So I believe that it would be the Pit's

I have a doberman and a pit. Regardless of what people say about pits--mine is a huge baby. My doby would rip him to shreds. However, if my dogs ran into a wolf in the wild--theres no doubt about it. My doby would die trying but he would surely die.

Why would you want to know that? I really hope you are not thinking on putting dogs to fight cause that is way uncool.
