Cascade Plastic Booster. Tupperware sells it for $2. You also might be able to find it at the grocery store. The older tupperware is more porous so it will stain. BUT there are new Tupperware containers right now that are especially designed to be stain resistant and they are guaranteed for life from peeling, chipping or cracking. They are called Rock n' Serve. You can use them (SAFELY) in the microwave, frig, freezer, AND dishwasher. They are the best container they have designed in years!!!! When you reheat in the microwave, you reheat with lid on but open a valve so your microwave doesn't get all messy! In case anyone is interested, click on the shopping link below.
Everyone who has this LOVES IT!!!!

I'm sorry to say but those stains are in there for good. Anytime you heat food such as spaghetti sauce or anything with an oily tomato base the stain will not come out. I have learned to heat food like that in glass.

There seems to be some answers on the internet, just google for it. I've read that leaving them in direct sunlight for a day or two will do it very well, but I've never tried it. (if you try it, of course, don't put containers on a piece of metal or other surface that's going to melt it.)
