Thanks for your quick responses. She took some motrin, and got a very warm washcloth which seems to be helping for now.

warm up some olive oil or even better garlic oil to just a bit hotter than body tempurature and put a couple drops in the painful ear and then put a cotton ball,....then some motrin or acetametphine or both they can be taken alternately every 4-6 hours,.....she needs anti -biotics which she probably doesn't have around if not then she needs to eat some fresh garlic crushed or garlic pills that is a natural anti biotic,....she must eat no sugar this will feed the infection and make it worse.

Good luck fellow mother!

Take your hair dryer and set it on low, aim the warm air into the affected ear. Let the warm air soothe the earache away.

It's an ear infection, bring her to the doctor ASAP, meanwhile have her lay down on something hot/warm (the side where the infection is on) to reduce the pain

TELL HER TO PUT SOME SALT IN A PAN, HEAT IT TILL WARM, POUR IN A COTTON SOCK, TIE IN KNOT. PUT A TOWEL AROUND IT. AND PUT ON EAR. USED WITH 3 KIDS. IT WORKS. ALSO WARM OLIVE OIL WILL WORK.
