What's wrong with them? They're in 7th to 9th grade. Guys don't get too much smarter, but they're probably at their dumbest at this age.

someone I know who is in 7th grade is good friends with another 7th grader of the oppiste sex. they chat all the time and nothing is awkward. except a sixth grader totally has a crush on him! and he clearly does not like her.

7th-9th graders are all really lame. it's all about who's goin out with who...NOBODY CARES. trust me. boys/girls are a waste of time in grammar school. 99% of the time they break up in a week, it's stupid. don't waste your time worrying about it till u get to college.

You're generalizing and of course it's not necessarily true. Most likely, they're nervous due to incipient feelings of sexuality and romance. They're new to this and don't know how to handle it. Don't waste time. Find those who don't act this way.

It's because the girls are smmokin' and because all their bodies are going into overdrive and they've never been properly prepared for this; nor have they been given the proper values for themselves or other people.
