To Catholic. I'm reading or singing the responsorial psalm this end of month.. i need a tune. I don't have the time to create my own tune so i'm looking for a tune and just put in the words. How should i sing it? My aunt (Sister Caren) ask me not to sing it in a slow tune, because its a joy mass for her. Is there any web that i can look into to look for tunes?

There are 150 different psalms. Each Mass one of these is used as the reponsorial psalm. Most psalms have several different musical versions that have been written. So first you have to no what number psalm you are using. Then you should know what hymnal is available at the church where this Mass is taking place. Look that psalm up in that hymnal and you should have your answer.

look up some Irish drinking songs. Find one you like and see if the words will fit the music. It worked for the National Anthem, why not for religious music?
