That which you have been given is but a fleeting comfort of this life. It's the quality that counts not Quantity. Unfortunately there are just too many blind followers who tarnish the image of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad pbuh.
As the prophet once said, there will come a time when the Muslims will be at it's lowest ebb... and the prediction is true now.

It's the next Christianity. It starts out with a violent history. Muslims will become more and more moderate, and slowly lose numbers (to nontheism, probably.
Christianity, on the other hand, will go the way of Judaism: It's (very) slowly fading away.

they need more members, we're blowing them up with bombs left and right. and they are all cowards to begin with. they claim they fight for ALLAH and that they are unafraid, yet when we shoot at them they run and hide in caves.
