Choose an environment that will influence your thoughts in a way that the importance in this other thing grows, and you will have to put in more efforts toward it. To the extent that a new environmental influence is important, to that same extent you will overcome pornography.
Regarding pornography in particular, that environment could well be finding a partner and spending time with them.

1) Prepare your mind for action and develop SELF-CONTROL
2) Prayer is an instant tower of strength; at the time the desire arises definitely helps
3)Take preventive measures- by avoiding any entertainment, also it could help if you try not to be alone for long periods of time (if possible)
4) 1 Cor. 15:58 - "Having plenty to do in the work of the Lord." Stay busy in doing God's will (EX:reading the Bible and meditate)
5) If you can't do it on your own, ask for help from someone that you can trust whose mature!
Know that its will be difficult to do, BUT by heartfelt prayer, you can also beg God for "the power beyond what is normal." (2 Cor. 4:7)

Get your face down before the living God and ask Him to take away that desire from you . Every time that idea even comes up in your head, bind that spirit in Jesus name. Ask God to set you free! Lord God I ask that you touch this person right now with your Holy Spirit and anointing, l serve the Lord God of Heaven and those demonic forces which have control in any area of this persons life are commanded to leave right now in Jesus name amen. Make sure you get into the word of God as it warns of the cast out demons who brought back 7 more and they were more wicked that the first. So fill up your life with the word of God.

LOTS & LOTS of prayer, never ceaseing, never ending prayer. Talk to a Christian councilor and find a support group, and again PRAY PRAY PRAY. My best friend's husband was involved in that for years before she found out, it destroyed their marriage of nearly 20 years. both their lives, children & both families, it destroys everything. It's wonderful you relize you need help.
