We always need companions but you always have one..right there in you...this is your creator. This voice of reason, truth, love walks with you always even when you turn away. When you find your wholeness. A woman will be your equal companion and the neediness will dissipate. No person can fix emptiness. We are NOT GOD. We are your human equal counterparts. If you rush into a relationship for wholeness honey you won't find it. You could be lonely with someone.

No you do not NEED anyone, you are a worthwhile person just as you are. However if you WANT a girlfriend then you should pursue one. They are quite nice to have, if you are into that kind of thing.
