I want to install such type of software on my child's computer which filters the web site, if that web site contains adult material, the software automatically block that site. Please help me.

Yes there are several...you also need a firewall to best protect your PC.
Naomi not only blocks sites, but blocks all Internet adult-related traffic and has filters for other inappropriate sites. I recommend it highly - I bench-tested out for my sister's child's PC visiting adult websites and it blocked me from the 50 or so that I attempted.. She reports that it works fine.
It is totally free -no free trial. There is a more feature upgrade available for sale. Compatible with Win XP, 2000, NT, (XP 64-bit currently not supported; not tested with windows 98/me)

Try www.freedownloads.com, and try the free one in the list of porn blockers. They are all mostly the same (a filter), and no need to pay for this utility.

There is parental control programs. Check TuCows. You could try netnanny.
