Well, the only kind of reasons I have ever heard so far to hate gays is on the line of "homosexuality is a sin". I don't assume all gay haters to be Christians. But I do assume them all to be religious fanatics.

As much as I dislike generalizing, a lot of the "gay hater" community also happens to be Christian. I'm not saying that Christians dislike gay people, necessarily. It's more than a coincedence, though.

Well they have quite the history of intolerence, but really their not the only religion that forbids homosexuality. I think it's mostly that Christianity is the most vocal in it's dislike of homosexuals, at least in the western hemisphere. Not all sects of Chritianity denouce gays, but those that do, tend to be the most abusive.

I am a Christian, although I don't support the gay life style,I don't hate gay people... & maybe I am nieve but, I don't think people assume all Christians hate gays.

It's the Muslims that are putting Gays to death. Last time I checked, the Christians weren't doing that. They might have. But nothing like that is happening currently, and I am very much relieved!

I am a christian. Pentecostal I might add & I have alot of gay friends. My dad was a pentecostal preacher & I was taught to love people for their hearts !

Real Christians Don't hate. I don't hate anyome. Hate is a waste of time. Hate the sin not the person. why do they say they are Christian? I can't answer that.
