After two heart still-stands and waking up out of a coma after 6 1/2 days, I suddenly saw the light.....white, penetrant, eerie, the sun rays shining directly in my face through the hospital window. I did not know who I was, what had happened or anything. Afterwards my memory came back very slowly, adding bits to my jig-saw puzzle, which is my life.
Sometimes I feel as though I am in the wrong film..maybe coz' I am not supposed to be here?
Do not hurry it my friend, you are dead long enough!

I think we all do. I am kind of afraid, since I've done some bad stuff in my life; I tried to commit suicide once and OD-ed on a cocktail of all the drugs in my family's medicine cabinet, my Grandma had forgotten her purse at our house, and she came in and found me and called 911. When I was in that near dead/totally drugged state, I believe I had a preview of what it was like, or perhaps it was just the universe showing me what I had created for myself...anyhow, it was pretty much hell- sort of like people describe it, although you don't burn physically since you don't have a body anymore, it is more an agonizing emotional pain, hopelessness in the knowledge that it really isn't ever going to get better and you have an eternity of despair-so needless to say, I'm a bit concerned...That being said, I can't believe that a G_d, if it exists at all, would be so cruel as to d@mn anyone because they don't follow the teachings of a certain religion- wouldn't he be a more understanding G_d, having created us to be skeptical and all that? Well, I really hope there is a wonderful place of eternal love and peace where we get to see all the people we love who have passed on, but I'm not keeping my hopes up, just living the best I can.

I'm afraid the only way you will find out is to cross over and see what's there.
I'm personally in no rush to find out. I do believe in heaven and hell, but I don't think we know very much about the nature of either one.
Since I am 65 years old I expect my travel to the other side will happen in a few decades, but--again--I'm not in any big hurry and there are still things to discover on this side.

If you get to death without experiencing death within you then you are exceedingly lucky, although I feel blessed because I now feel as if I have a slight understanding to the spiritual world where I didn't before.
Don't worry about reaching death until you've lived
Yesterday died, and this morn' was born with new wonders to discover and news to fear-death comes in it's own time and too many think of that time instead of now, today, tomorrow, and what is important...
Living
Love an' Peace to you xxx

I have no obsession to die anytime soon. When you watch Sylvia Browne on the Montel Williams show on Wednesday every week she will explain what it is like on the other side. For now I would really prefer to stay on this side. I am a bit psychic too and have had a little girl in my home for about ten years or so now. She always smells like raspberries when she first comes around. She is from somewhere in the late forties I believe because of her clothes and shoes. I am not the only one to see her in my home I have had other people see her too. She is most prevalent in my home from about Halloween until after Christmas and then she goes away for a while and you may not see her for months. She does not scare me, well she did the first time I saw her but she is just a little girl. What I would hope is on the other side for me is Heaven, peaceful, beautiful and a loving place. Seriously if you would like an answer about it watch or tape the Montel Williams Show every Wednesday and listen to Sylvia Browne talk about it. She does about every week. Good Luck but stay on this side for a while.

Yes, it is "like you are not alive". Existing means to be in the state you are in now, when that is no longer true you no longer exist. Semantics is a tricky business.Ever heard of a "Mobius plain"?
Your question is somewhat like asking what is the other side of a Mobius plain. Or what is the other side of a "point" (by definition it has no sides)
What goes to "the other side", your "soul", your "thinking" capacity? Neither has an "other side" detached from your body, if such thing is possible, your "thinking" or "soul" would be devoid of "sensation" and it would no longer "exist" as it does presently. At best it may be thought of as a small energy field of memories, without sensory perception, without a substantial body to refer to,
and and maybe communication only with entities like itself.

There are quite a few religion bodies teaching about the other side. But the thing is, non of professors/teachers/preachers had died before or bring back to life after died several weeks to support their "teaching". In my opinion, before knowing what is on the other side, let's ask ourselves, is there any scientific evidences that there is the other side! Or it is just a make up story or a joke by someone who died thousands years ago.

No, no one can answer that question for you, you are just gnna have to wait to find out. Your day will come, "God" Has everything planned out for everyone. What way you are gonna die, when your gonna die and how your gonna die. Don't make no mistakes though. Just wait til your day comes. It will be okay! One day were all gonna be able to find out what it is like on the other side!

There hasn't been a lot of evidence based research but if children's books are anything to go by it's sunny, warm with lots of fluffy bunnies running about the place. I wouldn't be too taken in by that though.

Don't like to be a pesimist but their was nothing there before you were born what makes you think there'll be anything when you die. Would really love to think there is somewhere where you get to see all your loved ones again but alas i think when you die, you die
